Camping Season Is Back As Hatta Resorts Reopens Tomorrow

One of the best things about winter season is camping. And we are literally counting the days until the camp season begins in the emirate.

If camping to you means glamping in Hatta, then your season begins this weekend.

Hatta Resorts reopens on Friday September 15 and booking is now open after closing for the summer back in May. Just a 90-minute drive from Dubai, there are several glamping options to choose from.

For cute trailer-style campers, there are the Sedr Trailers, while for mountain lodge vibes you can book one of the Damani Lodges at Hatta Resorts, which are secluded within the mountains.

The Caravans at Hatta Resorts are ideal for families not quite ready to embrace full-on camping, while our favourites, the unique Domes at Hatta Resorts, are igloo-like tents with stunning views.

If you want to go one step further, book a staycation at one of JA Hatta Fort Hotel’s brand-new Terra Cabins. The chalet-style cabins, which have been crafted out of pine wood and treated with a grey wash, have been designed to blend in with the surrounding Al Hajar mountains.

Whether you’re camping or just over for a day trip, there’s ziplining, mountain biking, rock climbing, paragliding kayaking, archery and even four-wheel biking to try.

Or cool down with a pedal boat tour of the Hatta Water Dam or the super speedy drop slides at the Wadi Hub pool. For something a little calmer, there are sunrise or sunset yoga sessions too.
