Maldives-Style Resort To Open 45 Minutes Away From Dubai

Planning a staycation before summer ends? Well, we have got you!

By the end of the year, there is set to be a swanky new resort opening on Mina Al Arab Island in Ras Al Khaimah, which is only 45 minutes away from DXB airport and one hour and 15 minutes’ drive from Palm Jumeirah.

Sure to be an Instagrammers dream, Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort will boast a backdrop of the Hajar mountains and be situated in 1.5 kilometres of mangroves and lagoons in a natural reserve.

Taking inspiration from the luxe hotels found in the Maldives, the first overwater villas with private pools in the Emirate will be bookable alongside 174 guest rooms, suites and villas.

All accommodation options will offer a balcony or terrace with views of the lagoon, sea or surrounding landscape. Swish.

Plus, all overwater villas will have access to a secluded private beach, each with its own private beach cabana.

With its location amidst a mangrove lagoon and protected coastal line, visitors are sure to be in awe at the wildlife which includes turtles, dolphins, the rare dugong and birds such as flamingos.

Not only that, an Anantara Spa with a wet area and relaxation spaces, a fitness centre, padel tennis courts and an outdoor pool with a sunken bar plus a kids’ club for tots.

A selection of dining options will be available for guests; Beach House will serve international specialities from breakfast through dinner at the all-day dining restaurant.

In addition, a pool bar and a deli café will each offer light bites throughout the day.
