Boxing Night Coming To Dubai This Week With 15 Fights Lined Up

If you’re into boxing, W Dubai – The Palm could be the venue for you this weekend.

One year on from their boxing debut, the Dubai-based OnlyComms team are putting on their biggest event yet.

Coming from the real estate world, the fighters have been on a 10-week training camp with world-renowned coaches at Al Quoz’s BOXIQ – with founder Joe Ackary and former WBA super-middleweight world champion Rocky Fielding putting them through their paces.

There’s everything from two siblings hoping to see their hands raised, six-month feuds on the line and even the first ever champion vs champion fight – with OnlyComms 1 alumni Joe Blackout Blackham putting his OnlySports title on the line against Broker Connectors champion Josh Ficco.

Tickets start from Dhs330, with doors opening at 6pm on the night.

Jimmy McDonald, OnlyComms Boxing Co-Founder, said: “When Dom Hadi and I came up with this idea a year ago, I don’t think we ever envisioned we would be here, one year later, hosting our third event on Palm Jumeirah. I really believe Caesars Palace put us on the map and now we have our first CEO stepping into the ring. Each event we do just gets bigger and better and I can’t wait to see how the night unfolds on September 8.”
