Travelling To US Soon? You Won’t Need A COVID-19 Vaccine

If you will be soon travelling to the United States, here is great news for you!

There have been some changes to the US travel restrictions that could make your experience easier. From Thursday May 11, most travellers will no longer need to provide proof of vaccination to enter the US.

The US House of Representatives voted to remove the vaccination requirement for foreign travellers back in February. The negative PCR requirement for entry was dropped last June, but proof of vaccine remained.

These updates to US travel restrictions will make it easier for tourists visiting the country. And from May 12, non-residents entering the US via ferry or ship will no longer need to be vaccinated either.

The US isn’t the only one reducing travel restrictions post-pandemic either. China has just eased its travel restrictions, with tourists no longer needing a negative PCR test to enter the country.

Got travel on the brain? Japan is also offering visit visa online for UAE residents from May 8, so you will no longer need to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test to enter the country either.
