The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has updated its website to reveal new dates for Dubai’s schools’ summer holidays.

Arafat Day is set to be a public holiday on Tuesday June 27. The Eid al Adha break is also due to fall at the end of June, with predicted dates of June 28, 29 and 30, depending on the Moon sighting.

Students, private and public sector workers are set for a six-day weekend (if you count the weekend of July 1-2. Following the two public holidays, Dubai schools will begin their two-month summer holiday throughout July and August.

This update comes after the Dubai school bus app was updated to cover an additional 20,000 pupils.
