In recent years, the fitness industry has experienced notable expansion. Dubai, in particular, has organized community events like the 30-day Dubai Fitness Challenge, effectively motivating residents to embrace healthier lifestyles.

Dubai Has Now Become The Highest Running Track In The World

We all know Dubai loves breaking records – and now it’s got another one up its sleeve. This time, it’s for housing the highest running track on a building in the world: Sky Track.

Located on the 43rd floor of 1 Residences at Wasl1, Za’abeel, it’s a track that allows you to run as if you’re at one with the clouds. 157 metres above ground, it’s a 335-metre rooftop track offering incredible views of the city below.

While only open to residents, it’s an ideal spot if you want to lace up your running shoes and make your workout that little bit more special, particularly compared to the traditional gym experience.

While you’re at it, you can take in views of The Dubai Frame and Zabeel Park, with Burj Khalifa that ever-present towering figure over the city skyline.

Hesham Al Qassim, CEO of Wasl, said: “We are delighted to achieve another Guinness World Records title for Dubai. We are humbled that Sky Track has achieved a world record, and happy that it will enhance residents’ daily lives. 1 Residences is a unique development that reflects the vision of our wise leadership in striving for excellence in all spheres. We remain steadfast in our commitment to creating projects that inspire and improve the well-being of residents and communities.”
