Dubai: 50 Projects To Be Initiated By Sheikh Hamdan

The Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs of Dubai will soon initiate 50 projects to enhance the quality of life in the emirate. The purpose is to improve long-term family, social, and demographic stability as well as advance the quality of life of citizens. Moreover, these 50 projects will provide diverse opportunities to young Emiratis.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, chaired the meeting of the emirate’s Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, established the committee in the beginning of 2022 under the Chairmanship of Sheikh Hamdan.

The Committee aims to work on seven key tracks for the advancement of Emiratis in Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan briefed on Monday.

Sheikh Hamdan said, “We directed various task forces to implement 50 projects and initiatives related to retirees, community development, social services, housing, quality of life and endowments. The projects and initiatives reflect the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid to promote sustainable development. As directed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, serving citizens is our highest priority.”

“We also issued directives to develop the resources and capabilities needed to provide an exceptional quality of life to our citizens. We believe that our citizens are our greatest asset, and our growth strategies are centred on improving their wellbeing and progress,” he added.

The Crown Prince called on all private and government sectors to increase their focus on the social sector for the welfare of the community as part of Dubai’s broader sustainable development efforts.
