Busta Rhymes To Perform At Sole DXB 2023

Busta Rhymes will headline the SOLE DXB festival this year. The legendary American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer will take to the stage on December 10.

Also performing on the same day will be Sampa the Great and Syrian-American rapper and spoken word poet Omar Offendum.

December 9 will see Jadakiss, who is set to make his UAE debut on the festival’s main stage, in addition to Tobe Nwigwe and Big Daddy Kane.

Sudanese American ODDISEE, who is known for merging elements of jazz, funk, and go-go into his hip-hop-rooted production will take to the stage, as well as DJ Shadow.

Also on the line-up is Nadine El Roubi, a Sudanese singer, songwriter, and rapper based in Cairo.

This year also brings UAE Mixtape, a showcase of the region’s rap artists including; The Recipe, Tac, Tayeb Santo, A’Y, Maxi Zee and Moh Flow, hosted by Mazzi of Def Jam.

Throughout the years, past performers and guests have included the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Jorja Smith, Koffee, Sho Madjozi, Bas, Stormzy, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Petra Collins, Scottie Pippen, Kerby-Jean Raymond, Central Cee, Bas, Marwan Pablo, Khadija El Warzazia, Rapsody, Mumu Fresh and more.

The festival, which is one of Dubai’s longest-running, began in 2014 in Al Quoz.

More than just music, Sole DXB is a celebration of fashion, music, art and the city’s subversive creative community.
