Expo City Dubai to be Turned into a Mesmerizing ‘Winter City’ for Holiday

Dubai Winter City – 50 days of free festivities and attractions, include carol singers, Santa’s grotto, and 16-meter-tall Christmas tree.

Holidays are just around the corner and Expo Dubai is about to turn into a magical city!

What to Know about Expo City Dubai

The Mobility District, Surreal Water District and Al Wasl Plaza will be hosting 50 days of festivities at Expo City Dubai from November 23 till the time of New year.

Not only that, there will be a chalet-style Christmas market where children can post their letters to Santa and decorate pine trees. A traditional fairground games!

• Winter City is completely free, but please note that there will be a few activities chargeable.
• A jaw-dropping 52-foot Christmas tree that will be lit up at Al Wasl Dome, celebrating the theme of ‘White Christmas’
• Daily nightly projection shows
• Gingerbread, wreath and ornament-making workshops
• A Santa’s Grotto
• A 2 week winter camp for kids aged 6-12 years, from December 12-23 at Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion and week 2 from Alif – The Mobility Pavilion
• A dedicated place for kids to post their letters to Santa
• Jumping, sliding, climbing and zip-lining activities
• December 20 – 25 – Carols by Candlelight show
• Traditional fairground games
• A chalet-style Christmas market
• The second edition of Expo 2020’s popular Mrs Claus Christmas Show from December 20-29 which will include live entertainment, and something you should definitely not miss out on!
