Virginia Atlantic Now Flying To London And It’s Cheaper Than Emirates

Living in Dubai means having affordable choice of brilliant airlines when travelling.

From having one of the world’s best budget carriers (flydubai) to having one of the world’s best airlines (Emirates), UAE has several options available for flying.

Now, there are more choices for passengers travelling to the UK as Virgin Atlantic has resumed flights to London.

The Virgin London to Dubai flight takes off four times weekly over two key flight times. Operated on a Boeing 787-9, you can fly directly to and from London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR).

Return Economy fares on Virgin Atlantic start from Dhs2,533, while the same route on Emirates starts from Dhs3,075.

The London-Dubai flight takes off at 6.20pm in the UK, landing at 5.30am in Dubai, while the return flight leaves Dubai at 1.45pm before arriving in the British capital at 5.50pm.

Serving the route, which takes around seven hours, the Boeing 787-9 aircraft offers 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium and 192 Economy Delight, Classic and Light seats. The aircraft has WiFi and onboard entertainment.

The Virgin London to Dubai route was stopped four years ago, in March 2019.

Rikke Christensen, vice president of network and alliances at Virgin Atlantic said, “I’m thrilled to be returning to Dubai – a destination we know our customers and people love.  Its inviting climate during the cold UK winter, combined with its first-class collection of hotels and experiences, make Dubai a must-visit destination for sunshine-hungry Brits.”
