UAE Passport Named The Most Powerful In The World

Are you a UAE passport holder? Consider yourself lucky as it’s been crowned the best passport in the world.

Now considered the golden ticket to travel, the UAE passport came top of the Nomad Capitalist Passport Index.

Created to highlight the best citizenships in the world, the list has been compiled on the basis of visa-free travel, international taxation laws, global perception, dual citizenship and personal freedom.

Last year, the UAE passport ranked in 35th place showing that changes in the past 12 months; allowing foreigners to apply for dual citizenship, the country’s tax-free living and booming business landscape have secured the passport the number one spot in 2023.

United Arab Emirates passport holders can enter 116 countries without a visa.

58 countries by getting a visa on arrival and seven countries can be visited with electronic travel authorisation (eTA).

Tallying up to 188 destinations, that’s pretty impressive plus in addition, there are 69 additional destinations for which United Arab Emirates passport holders either need a physical visa to enter or an eVisa.
