Free Hatta Dam Paddleboard Event To Take Place In November

Hatta Dam is usually reserved for kayaking and boating but, for one day in November, it will host a paddleboard event.

As part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the stand-up paddleboard event will be free to take part in and you can use your own board or borrow one.

Taking place on Saturday November 18, it will be a rare opportunity to glide on your SUP board across the dam, while taking in the mountain scenery.

Wondering what to expect? There are training sessions for anyone aged five and above and, if you are a beginner or higher, then you can select a 30-minute lesson to take part in.

If you are a pro, then a competition will take place for those wanting to flex their competitive muscles. The DFC SUP Challenge session will run from 5pm to 5.30pm where competitors will have to navigate a stand-up course on the water.

There will also be a stand-up paddleboard yoga session from 5.15pm to 5.45pm. It’s sure to engage those core muscles.

Life jackets will be mandatory and will be allocated on arrival. Participants must be able to swim and under 21s must be accompanied by an adult.

To make the commute easy and accessible to all, there will be complimentary shuttle buses running from Dubai.

Reserve your spot on Premier Online.
