Expo City’s Winter Wonderland To Return This December

Just like us, you’re probably excited for Dubai to become Christmasfied (we are) with tall fir trees decked out in decorations, festive markets and Santa’s grottos popping up.

And this year Expo City will transform into Winter City, following its success in 2022.

The crimbo event will begin on Friday December 15 and wrap up on Sunday January 7, giving plenty of time for you to explore the winter wonderland.

If you visited last year, you were probably in awe of the chalet-style huts, pine trees and a fairground.

The 52-foot tree decked out in decorations and metres of lights inside Al Wasl Plaza took pride of place and there was a letter-to-Santa station for the little ones to get their requests down on paper and shipped to the North Pole.

Other seasonal events included Santa’s Grotto, jumping, sliding, climbing and zip-lining pursuits, as well as gingerbread, wreath and ornament-making workshops. We’re expecting more of the same this year.

It seems like it will be the place to head to get you ready for Christmas.
