Expo City Dubai’s Popular Attraction Reopens This Month

Expo City Dubai’s popular attraction ‘Garden in the Sky’ has reopened after a brief closure.

At the end of May, Expo City shared the news that Garden in the Sky was to close for renovation and that it was set to re-open at a later date.

The 55-metre high garden with rotating cabins that allows for a birds-eye view of Expo is now welcoming guests between 6pm and 10pm.

It’s expected that Garden in the Sky will also extend its opening hours when temperatures cool down.

Wondering about its cost? Well, access to the Garden in the Sky observation tower usually costs Dhs30 to enter.

Al Wasl Plaza and the Surreal Water Feature are also well worth visiting when in the area.

Throughout the summer months, Alif, The Mobility Pavilion and Terra, The Sustainability Pavilion, Women’s Pavilion and Stories of Nations are also available to visit.

Tickets cost Dhs50 per person, per pavilion, and the pavilions are open daily from noon to 8pm. Tickets can be purchased via the Expo City website or at the on-site box office.

Kids aged 12 and under get in for free to the pavilions, as do People of Determination.

In 2020, Dubai hosted the first-ever Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

Dubbed the world’s greatest show, people from all over the globe came to visit to see the spectacular pavilions and attractions.

In September 2023, it was announced that Expo was to become Expo City Dubai, reachable by Dubai Metro via Expo 2020 station, to keep the event’s legacy living on.
