A New Skate Track Has Opened In Meydan

Whether you are a fan of skateboarding, rollerblading, or BMXing, there is a new spot in the emirate to explore.

Great news for thrill seekers in Dubai, DXBike in Meydan has expanded. In partnership with XDubai, there is now a new track, named Pump Track, that is ready to be tackled by anyone in the mood to practice their tailwhip, barspin and footplant.

As for the specs, prepare to be dazzled as Pump Track is 1,350 square metres and has two tracks, which can be used for any sport on wheels, such as skateboarding, BMX racing and rollerblading.

There is a smaller track for children and beginners, while the bigger track is for advanced riders and will be used during competitions. The Pump Track at DXBike has unlimited transfer lines, more than 30 rollers and seven berm turns.

The space has everything bikers, skaters and bladers could need as visitors can rent protective gear and equipment from the XDubai shop, at the homegrown cycling store LOOP or the bicycle rental store BikeOn.

As for the price to use the track a one-hour pass costs Dhs45, two hours will set you back Dhs60 and a day pass comes in at Dhs90.

If you go a lot then it could be worth getting a three-month pass for Dhs800 or annual membership for Dhs2,100.
