You Can Now Buy A Home Within Minutes In Dubai

Unarguably, Dubai is fasting becoming one of the world’s best destinations.

Just days after the UAE was voted the best place on the planet for expats, it’s now easier than ever to buy property in Dubai.

It’s all because of a new instant sale feature, launched by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), which utilises smart evaluation technology in real estate transactions without the needs for audits.

It applies to apartments and villas located in freehold areas. The purpose is to speed things up – so you can buy a property within a matter of minutes – as the process ensures the presence of all parties at the real estate registration trustee office to sign contracts.

Prices are confirmed through the smart valuation process. Then, once payment fees are completed, a new title deed can be issued.

Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, the Director-General of DLD, pointed to real estate growth in 2022 – with annual transactions crossing half a trillion dirhams.

After such a strong 12 months, the plan is to build on that success and continue to modernise the process of buying property.

It comes after a survey put together by HSBC quizzed expats from around the world on their motivations to move abroad, with the UAE coming out top.

The results revealed that lifestyle is the prime motivation for 36 percent of respondents who have relocated to the country.
