Witness Sparkling Fireworks Displays In Dubai For Chinese New Year

In China, the new year will be the year of the rabbit – a symbol of peace, prosperity, and longevity in Chinese culture.

People celebrating the occasion, also referred to as Lunar New Year, in Dubai there will be free firework displays dotted around the city as the weekend draws to an end.

Want to witness sparkling fireworks this weekend? Here are the six places you can head to – The Beach opposite JBR and Bluewaters, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Frame, Al Seef, Dubai Creek, and Dubai Festival City Mall.

Prepare to see the sky dazzle between 8.30pm and 9pm.

The firework shows are not being put on specifically for Chinese New Year but a continuation of the pyrotechnics being put on for Dubai Shopping Festival.

Even though the fireworks aren’t dedicated to the event there is no reason to still not to enjoy them as part of your Chinese New Year celebrations.

If you decided to head to JBR on the night there will be loads of fun to be had as the location is going all out.

The beachside spot will be putting on fun roaming shows around the boulevard as well as dragon dance shows, Chinese lion dance shows and upbeat drumming performances.
