UAE Residents Feel Secure About Country’s Prospects, According To A Survey

From having sunny weather and top attractions to fantastic restaurants and tax-free earnings, Dubai is blessed with everything.

And in a new survey, it has been revealed that UAE residents are super happy with their prospects in the country – including their financial situation at present and in the future.

Data collected by The Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) reveals that 95 percent of people taking part in the survey said they think the UAE is on the right track when it comes to the country’s general situation.

As for areas participants were quizzed on, it included their feelings on the UAE’s current and future state of the local economy, their personal financial situation, as well as the confidence to make large investments and their ability to save.

Proving that people living in the UAE feel secure despite other areas in the world being concerned with economic issues, 44 percent said they see their personal financial situation as strong and 81 percent expect the economy in their local area to be stronger in six months’ time.

79 percent of people taking part are now more confident about their ability to invest in the future compared to six months ago, and 80 percent are now more comfortable making a major purchase, like a home or car than six months ago.

Compared to other counties, the UAE landed in second place, just one percent behind Saudi Arabia for the country’s general situation.

As for how the data was gathered by PCSI, 500 respondents took part in self-administered online interviews.
