UAE National Day: There’s A 50% Discount On Driving Fines

Good news for motorists!

There will be a 50% discount on driving fees on the 51^st UAE National Day, but they must live in Sharjah.

Will Dubai be next to announce discount on traffic fines?

Drivers can make the most of the reduced fee from December 1, 2022 till January 20, 2023.

NOTE: The discounted fine applies to violations committed before December 1, 2022.

Sharjah Exclusive Council announced the decision, following the footsteps of Ajman, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain where drivers can also get discounted price fines till the New Year.

The parking will be free over the long weekend in Dubai. The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA) announced the timings of all its services for the National Day weekend – including that paid parking zones will be free.

Therefore, you won’t have to spend dirhams on parking from December 1 till December 3.

Also, remember that Sunday parking is always free, which means fourth day of free parking.
