Traveling To China Has Become Easier Than Ever Before

Traveling plans to China got cancelled due to the unfortunate COVID-19 across the world.

However, we’ve got good news!

An update to China travel restrictions means you no longer need a PCR test to enter the country.

Instead, you’ll need to show a negative antigen test (which you can purchase in pharmacies in Dubai) that has been taken 48 hours before boarding.

A spokesperson from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning, announced the new rules at a media briefing on Tuesday.

This comes as Beijing continues to ease its zero-COVID policy, with a number of pandemic-related measures thrown to the scrap-heap in recent weeks.

China resumed issuing all visas last month in a bid to boost tourism.

Got Far East Asian travel on the brain? From May 8, UAE residents can apply for a Japanese visit visa online. You will no longer have to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test to enter the country, either.

With post-pandemic travel back in full swing, it’s good to know that you can now renew your passport in UAE airports with a new 24-hour renewal service.

Happy travels!
