Travel: Air India To Increase Flights To Dubai From Delhi And Mumbai

Great news for frequent travellers from India to Dubai and vice versa!

Air India is introducing additional flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai due to high demand. Those flying from Delhi or Mumbai using Air India to Dubai will now be able to choose from ten daily flights.

Starting from Saturday April 29, it amounts to an increase from the previous eight.

With more options, travellers will have increased flexibility when booking and can choose from morning, afternoon and evening routes.

The additional flights are part of Air India and Air India Express’ plan to reduce overlapping routes.

“This optimisation of Air India’s flight schedule for Dubai is part of the ongoing network alignment between Air India and Air India Express, achieving synergy by densifying presence on the routes that are more commercially viable and reducing frequencies on overlapping routes,” the airline said.

Some of the flights will take place on a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft which has 18 Business Class seats and 238 Economy Class seats. While others will be operated on an Airbus A320/321.
