A new platform where you can rent anything and everything has just launched in the UAE.

YJOZ, which is available through yjoz.com and as an app (on iOS here, and on Android here), has a number of items available to rent by the day, including cameras, gaming consoles, camping equipment and more.

The developers hope the app will serve as an eco-friendly platform for sharing goods that will help reduce waste and extend the life of products.

We are also concerned about the excessive exploitation of natural resources and the unsustainable production of consumer goods. If you’ve got something someone else might find useful collecting dust at the back of cupboard, you can rent your items through the app, too.

You won’t have to worry about your item getting damaged, either, as all items are insured up to Dhs20,000.
