Texas Will Perform At Dubai Duty Free Stadium

Time to get excited! The Scottish Brand ‘Texas’ is going to perform in Dubai very soon.

The Scottish musicians will be performing at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on April 28. Sharleen Spiteri and co. will be filling the stadium with the band’s ’80s and ’90s hits including Inner Smile, I Don’t Want a Lover and In Our Lifetime.

You can get tickets from tomorrow, starting from Dhs199 for the seated grandstand and Dhs225 for standing-ground tickets. Tickets are available at 800tickets.com.

The band has performed in Dubai a few times, the last time being at the same venue back in 2017. Before that, they played in 2015 alongside fellow Scots Simple Minds at the Irish Village.

Formed in Glasgow back in 1987, Texas has been releasing songs ever since. Their 10th album ‘Hi’ came out in 2021 and features tracks including Wu Tang Clan and Mr Haze.

Pop legends Tony Hadley, Marc Almond, Heather Small, Heaven 17, Go West, Nick Heyward, Altered Images and T’Pau are playing at Bla Bla on Saturday March 4 as part of REWIND Festival.

Seal is performing in Sharjah at Al Majaz Amphitheatre on Saturday March 11. While Irish boyband The Script is playing at McGettigan’s St Patrick’s Day festival on Saturday March 18.
