Shooting Stars In The Sky? Nope, Dubai Sets Another World Record

Just like thousands of Dubai residents, did you also notice the mysterious lights streaking across the Dubai skies?

Well, it wasn’t a UFO. In fact, it was a group of Dubai skydivers wearing flares breaking a world record.

Skydive Dubai set another Guinness World Record for the highest altitude skydiving fireworks display. It was 5,150 meters up in the sky.

The skilled skydivers were trying to break the world record for the last few weeks, and it finally happened on December 22. The residents clearly noticed the pyrotechnic skydiving displays, capturing them on social and wondering what they were looking at.

With the ongoing Dubai Shopping Festival, Christmas taking place this weekend and New Year’s Eve right around the corner, the skies in Dubai will be filled with sparklers.

This Christmas weekend, six destinations in the city putting on shows, courtesy of the Dubai Shopping Festival, it means that wherever you are based in Dubai you will be close to a pretty sky show.
