Sheikh Hamdan Attends Contests On Second Day Of Government Games

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, attended competitions in the Battle of Communities and Battle of Government — Men’s categories on the second day of the fourth edition of Gov Games being held in Dubai.

The Organising Committee of the tournament announced that four international teams that participated in the preliminary round have qualified for the finals of the Battle of Cities. Copenhagen from Denmark, Brisbane from Australia, Gdansk from Poland, and Kutna Hora from the Czech Republic are among the qualifying teams.

The competition, which was held from March 2 to 5, was organised by the Dubai Sports Council in association with the official sponsor DP World and included amazing performances from competitors. The competing teams demonstrated great levels of synchronisation, teamwork, and perseverance when taking on tasks that put strain on their ability to remain composed, focus, and think quickly.

The obstacles at the Gov Games, on the second day, truly put people’s strength of character, stamina, and mental attention to the test. The Gov Games 2023 continue to challenge the limits of sportsmanship with participating teams exhibiting incredible devotion and determination.
