Saudi School Holidays To Keep In Your Diary

Winter is the busiest time of the year in Dubai. And, like most places in the world, Dubai is bustling with activity during the school holidays.

Below, you can see when the kiddos break up in Saudi Arabia.

The little ones have been back in school in Saudi since Sunday August 20 – with the term running until Thursday November 16.

Students will then enjoy a long weekend for school holidays before the second term begins on Sunday November 26.

The expected term dates are as follows:

• First term: Sunday August 20 – Thursday November 16.
• Second term:  Sunday November 26 – Thursday February 22.
• Third term: Sunday April 7 – Thursday June 10.

The expected school holidays are as follow:

• Long weekend: Thursday November 2.
• First term holidays: Thursday November 16 – Saturday November 25.
• Long weekend: Sunday December 17.
• Second mid-term break: Thursday January 4.
• Long weekend: Sunday January 14.
• Foundation Day/second term holidays: Thursday February 22 – Saturday March 2.
• Eid al Fitr (expected): Wednesday April 3.
• Long weekend: Thursday May 2.
• Summer holidays: From Tuesday June 11.
