Participate In A Guinness World Record Attempt In Dubai Next Month

Taking part in a Guinness World Record attempt is something special and you can do so in Dubai next month.

On Sunday November 12, those who have always wanted to get involved with one will be able to.

That’s because residents and tourists in town will be able to take part in an attempt to smash the largest high-intensity interval train class record on Sheikh Zayed Road. The collaboration between adidas, Les Mills and DFC, is for those aged 16 and above. So, ready to do it?

On the day, participants will be guided through a workout, led by world-class trainers – all set against the stunning backdrop of Museum of the Future.

The attempt is open to all UAE residents, regardless of their fitness background, granting an opportunity to come together and take part in a historical fitness achievement.

You’ll have to be an early-riser if you want to get stuck in, as the event will kick off at 5am and Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed ahead of Dubai Run.

Sporty types can arrive from 4am and you’ll have to make the most of the Metro and get off at DWTC Station or Emirates Towers Station.

It’s pretty easy to register to take part but, first of all, you’ll have to download the adidas app.

Next, tap on the radar tab in the bottom right corner of the app, then scroll down to exclusive giveaways and tap the event card.

The final step is to join. Then all you have to do is get those HIIT practices in.

At present, the largest high-intensity interval training class was 3,804 and was achieved by Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach, at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park in London on Wednesday July 5, 2017.
