Palm Jumeirah Has Introduced A Unique Hot Air Balloon Ride

A new attraction is taking off on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah this February.

The Dubai Balloon is a hot-air balloon ride soaring above Atlantis The Palm. Located at Poseidon’s Watchtower in Atlantis Aquadventure, the balloon will take you up to 300m into the air.

Touted as the city’s newest “aerial adventure” the helium balloon is tethered to the ground but allows guests to float up into the sky to gain a unique vantage point over Palm Jumeirah.

The ride’s duration is 10 minutes, and if the weather is clear, you will be able to see across the city. You can celebrate someone special’s birthday or your anniversary soaring above Dubai as private charter is also available.

The opening date of The Dubai Balloon at Atlantis is not confirmed yet, but from its social media posts, it seems that it will be opening soon.

Standard tickets will cost Dhs175 for adults or Dhs75 for kids. But if you want to make your experience extra special, there’s an option to book a fast pass ticket for Dhs275 (adults) and Dhs125 (kids) which will also include a free soft or hot drink in the lounge post-ride.

“We are so excited to welcome everyone to try this new bucket-list experience and rise above this beautiful city we call home,” says Clair Aichhorn, general manager of The Dubai Balloon. She added that it “will reshape the city skyline and enhance Dubai as a destination”.
