Got to catch a flight but don’t want to miss the world cup matches? Well, Emirates has got you covered.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is taking place from October 5 to November 19 in India.

With the 50-over World Cup being the pinnacle tournament within the single-day format, the competition is fierce. And if you’re boarding a flight with Emirates, you won’t miss a second of the action.

You can watch the Cricket World Cup on Emirates planes no matter the destination you are travelling to. This is because Emirates is the official airline partner of the tournament.

The 13th edition of the tournament is going to be a big one, with hosts India hoping to win for the first time since 2011 and current holders England wanting to follow their success in the World T20 tournament last year with another victory.

You can watch the action unfold while in the air by tuning into Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra on the ICE in-flight entertainment.

In the video shared by Emirates to promote the on-board games, Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik is seen sitting in Premium Economy watching the matches. From Sunday October 29, the Premium Economy seats will be available on the airline’s routes to Mumbai and Bangalore.

Emirates will also be on the ground at the 48 matches taking place across India with hospitality areas for cricket fans.

The final will take place on Sunday November 19 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which is the largest sports stadium in the world, seating 132,000 spectators.

Free to watch on-board with Emirates. From now until Sun Nov 19. emirates.com.
