New Road Connecting Dubai To Ras Al Khaimah Now

Whether you commute daily to and from the Emirates or planning a trip to RAK, a new road connecting Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah will make travelling better and easier.

The Emirates Road E611 opened just before the new school year to increase capacity and reduce traffic.

Announcing the new road on X (formerly Twitter) the UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure said: “In addition to raising the capacity of the road, which contributes to improving the linkage and communication between the urban communities on both sides of the road and the emirates served by the street.

“It is worth mentioning that the works are part of an integrated project to improve the current intersection in the Al Barashi area, which will be completed before the end of this year 2023.”

Dubai drivers can expect more new roads on the horizon as there are plans for 32 new roads to be built around Al Qusais Industrial Area 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) claims the new roads will reduce journey time by 60 percent.

Currently, Al Qusais Industrial Areas are served by four main streets; Amman Street, Beirut Street, Halab Street, and Damascus ‎Street.

The new roads will ease congestion on these streets and create a more seamless driving experience for those living and working around the area.
