Neighbourhood Festival To Take Place In JLT This Month

With temperatures dropping in the city by the end of the month, it’s time to start making plans to enjoy all things outdoors in Dubai.

On Friday September 29, you’ll want to head to JLT Park (between clusters Q and R) from 5pm until 9pm as a community festival is taking place.

Free to enter and for the whole family (including pets), the festival will have a kids’ craft station, lantern riddles, mooncake tasting, traditional Chinese instrument performances and a wishing tree station.

More activities will be planned for the neighbourhood to enjoy.

Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) is made up of 26 clusters named after the letters of the English alphabet (A-Z).

A popular area to live, the neighbourhood is filled with high-rise buildings that surround lakes.

Don’t live in the area but want to visit the festival? You can take a taxi, or JLT has its own Metro station named DMCC. It’s in zone 2 on the Red Line and connects to the Dubai Tram System.

There are also plenty of Careem Bike docking stations, these can be found in Cluster A, DMCC Metro Station, Cluster D, Cluster G, Cluster H, Cluster I, Cluster J and Cluster M and electric scooters dotted about (making it super easy to get about).

Free. Fri Sep 29 5pm-9pm. JLT Park.
