Inside The New Emirates Amenity Kits For Economy Flyers

Planning to fly with Emirates soon? Well, if the answer is yes, you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled as the Dubai-based airline has launched new amenity kits for those flying in Economy and Premium Economy.

The new Emirates kit pouches are reusable and made from washable kraft paper. A mix of colours are available such as khaki green, terracotta, burnt orange, apricot, forest green, aqua blue, turquoise and royal blue, each with a different animal design.

Inside, customers will find travel essentials including a toothbrush made from a combination of wheat straw and plastic, alongside a small tube of toothpaste.

You’ll also find a pair of beige socks and eyeshades, both made from recycled plastic.

Those who hate noise when they travel will be pleased to know that Emirates is also phasing earplugs back into amenity kits by the end of the year – due to popular requests from customers.

The new complimentary kits are available now and have been designed in partnership with United for Wildlife and highlight eight of the most endangered species on the planet.

Raising awareness about endangered species and the prevention of illegal trade of wildlife and wildlife products, the animals featured on the kit pouches and bookmarks are some of the most trafficked creatures in the world – the green sea turtle, African elephant, blue macaw, gorilla, hammerhead shark, lion, pangolin and the black rhino.

In August, Emirates launched luxe amenity kits for First and Business Class ticketholders.
