Indochine’s Dubai Outpost Has Closed Down

Known for the celebrity clientele and stylish vibe, Indochine is a household name for those in the know.

Born in New York City in 1984, French-Vietnamese restaurant Indochine opened its doors in Dubai back in December 2019 to raving success.

However, after four years in operation, Indochine Dubai has officially closed down.

The news was confirmed by the restaurant’s Instagram account when it changed its bio to read “Closed” with a star emoji.

The first Indochine in New York saw some huge names frequenting its chic outpost over the years including David Bowie, Salman Rushdie, Andy Warhol and Madonna. And the Dubai edition was no different, with Roger Federer and Lindsay Lohan both being spotted at the DIFC restaurant.

Fans of Indochine’s effortlessly cool vibe can find similar at Honeycomb Hi-Fi, where DJ Patchoulee also holds residency.

Thank you for a brilliant four years, Indochine.
