Getting To And From Al Warqa 4 Improved With Road Upgrade

Those living in Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment are now better connected to the rest of the city.

It’s because Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed the construction of internal roadworks extending 1.9 km within the Al Warqa 4 neighbourhood. Residents can now make the most of new pedestrian paths, pavements, entrances to cark parks and street lighting.

Revealing the exact improvements, Hamad Al Shehhi, the RTA’s director, said: “Works completed at Al Warqa 4 included the construction of 1.9km of internal roads and 3.6km of two-way pedestrian walkways along with parking spaces to accommodate 66 vehicles and the installation of 57 lighting units.”

He added: “The project will benefit 136 villas within the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment in the area.”

Al Warqa 4 is found between Ras Al Khor Road, Nouakchott Street and Tripoli Street. The development is categorised into five sub-communities; Al Warqaa 1, Al Warqaa 2, Al Warqaa 3, Al Warqaa 4 and Al Warqaa 5.

Al Warqa 4 is close to the communities of Mirdif, International City and Al Warsan. The project is part of the RTA’s commitment to accommodate Dubai’s growing population and urbanisation by upgrading the infrastructure of residential areas.
