Free Parking Announced Across Dubai This Weekend

Living in Dubai? We’ve got good news for you!

You won’t have to worry about paying for parking as it will be free for this weekend.

It’s because of the three-day weekend for the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday, with fees not applying in paid zones throughout the city.

The only exception will be in multi-level terminals, where you’ll still have to pay.

This weekend, workers across the UAE (who work from Monday to Friday) will get a three-day weekend as there will be a public holiday to commemorate the occasion on Friday September 29.

The Prophet Muhammad’s birthday isn’t the last public holiday for 2023, as there are three more.

Commemoration Day will be marked on Friday December 1 and then National Day celebrations will take place from Saturday December 2 to Sunday December 3.

This means that workers in the UAE will have Friday December 1 off but the National Day public holidays will not equate to working days off, as they fall over a weekend, so most workers will be off anyway.
