Enjoy Free WiFi On Board All Emirates Flights

Planning a trip to enjoy your summer holidays at its fullest? Make sure to book your flight with Dubai-based airline Emirates as its offering free WiFi in all cabins, that too, free of charge!

Previously you could connect in Economy Class, provided you paid a fee by the hour or for a period of hours. Now, all you need to do is sign up for the Emirates Skywards loyalty scheme.

You can sign up before you board on the Emirates’ website, the flydubai website or while you’re in the air and connecting to the WiFi.

The Economy Class free WiFi speed will be enough to instant message those on the ground, so you can send and receive messages via WhatsApp or iMessage.

Those in First Class will have free WiFi that enables them to work or shop online. The change in WiFi procedure will see an additional 30,000 Economy Class passengers connecting to the onboard internet each week.

This is just the start of things to come for Emirates’ free WiFi. The airline also announced that by 2024, on 50 new Airbus A350, there will be inflight broadband powered by Inmarsat’s GX Aviation. It will be the world’s first globally available broadband network and will mean passengers can stay connected to the ground, no matter the destination they’re flying to.

The new Airbus A350 aircraft will ensure each passenger has high-speed internet to browse social media, shop online and message friends.
