Emirates Announces Vegan Menu: All The In-flight Dining Choices For Vegans

When boarding an Emirates flight, vegan eaters will not have to worry about what to eat as the airline has introduced a plant-based menu.

The UAE flag carrier airline serves up a 100 percent vegan menu to passengers across all cabin classes.

Don’t expect a lacklustre menu (there won’t be a wilting lettuce leaf in sight) as you eat in the air with a list of dishes that’s sure to impress the fussiest of eaters.

People traveling in Economy Class will also enjoy delicious vegan plates on-board.

Emirates vegan menu: There is a wide range of choices across classes

The menu includes a creamy spinach and avocado mousseline, with marinated tofu, blanched snow peas, radish, asparagus, pomegranate seeds, courgette ribbon and sriracha oil; multicoloured quinoa with succulent caramelised pear and celeriac purée, roasted cauliflower, glazed carrots, sautéed kale and lovage pesto; and the hearty flavours of barley risotto with mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, buttered chestnuts, blanched broccolini and toasted pumpkin seeds.

Business and First Class also have some tasty choices.

Emirates vegan menu: a delicious range of desserts

Handcrafted dishes available include pan-roasted king oyster mushrooms, jackfruit biryani and sliced kohlrabi garnished with burnt orange.

Those who miss meat can also have kofta alternatives made out of Beyond Meat substitute.

Those who love to end on a sweet note will be impressed with the dessert choices.

Included on the menu is chocolate truffle cake with hazelnut, pistachio and gold leaf, or green grape tart adorned with candied rose petals, vanilla custard, and berry compote and yuzu pearls. They look pretty Instagrammable to us.

Just make sure to pre-order the vegan offerings before getting to the airport.
