Elon Musk Talks About AI At The World Government Summit Happening In Dubai

On day three of the World Government Summit (WGS), Elon Musk, The CEO of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, and a few other companies that are changing the world as we know it, joined the conversation virtually and dropped some knowledge bombs about the regulation of artificial intelligence.

The slogan of this year’s WGS is “Shaping Future Governments,” and it has gathered 10,000 international decision-makers, specialists, and government officials. Elon Musk, a billionaire businessman, spoke online on Wednesday about the perils of artificial intelligence (AI), the effect of social media, and his impending x.com app, a one-stop shop for all things digital.

Musk underlined the need for regulation of AI during the conference in order to ensure its safety. AI has advanced greatly in recent years and will continue to do so. Making sure that it is being developed without endangering people is crucial. Musk emphasised the necessity for regulatory organisations to ensure public safety, just as they do for products like cars, aeroplanes, and medical devices. AI is no exception.
