DXB Airport Wins Two Awards For Its Restaurants, Bars And Shops

From shopping options to a myriad of dining, Dubai International Airport has a lot to offer.

From the region’s first airport Hard Rock Cafe to sports bars and even a fine dining restaurant, there are so many places to choose from when eating at DXB.

So, people wanting to shop can do so at the huge duty-free plaza and a number of standalone shops in the terminals.

Which is why it will come as no surprise that DXB has taken home two awards, this time for its vast food, drink and shopping options.

Dubai International Airport was awarded the ‘Best Airport for Food and Beverage Offer’ and ‘Best Airport for Retail Environment’ at the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Awards.

Nominees for the food and beverage category included Doha (DOH), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Melbourne (MEL), Singapore (SIN) and Sydney (SYD).

While those competing in the retail category were Doha (DOH), Istanbul (IST), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Melbourne (MEL) and Singapore (SIN).

As the world’s busiest airport, Dubai International’s passengers have so many dining, drinking and shopping options to choose from.
