Dubai School Dates Announced For 2023-2024 Academic Year

The kids are currently off school for summer break, but they will soon return to schooling (Monday August 28) and parents around the city will soon be back to juggling packed lunches, doing the school runs and making sure the P.E kits are ready.

Following the summer holidays, the next holiday for kiddos of school age will be winter break (also known as the Christmas holidays).

Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has now confirmed the dates for the school year ahead.

As for when the 2023/2024 academic year will wrap, the estimated dates have also been shared by the KHDA.

Here are the Dubai school dates for 2023-2024 academic year:

• Start of the academic year: August 28 2023
• Start of winter break: December 11 2023
• Resumption of classes after winter break: January 02 2024
• Start of spring break: March 25 2024
• Resumption of classes after spring break: April 15 2024
• The academic year is not to end before June 28 2024.
