Dubai Ranked As One Of Britain’s Top Cruise Destinations

When thinking of Dubai, we usually think of its towering skyscrapers, soft sand beaches and glamourous restaurants but the city has another accolade to add to your list.

According to a study by AllClear Travel, Dubai has officially been named in the top 10 cruise destinations.

Analysing Google data, on searches including ‘cruise to X’ and ‘X cruise holidays’ Dubai came ranked number seven with an average of 5,204 per month.

Norway ranked as Google’s number one search for cruise destinations with 134,018 searches per month. Greece came in second with 41,378 searches and Italy in third with 29,889 searches each month.

Iceland, Australis and Croatia come in before Dubai, with cruises in Spain and the Bahamas ranking after Dubai in 9th and 10th place.

The study also analysed which regions were most searched for by Brits looking for cruises. Unsurprisingly, the Caribbean was the most popular region. But the Middle East also appeared on the list, with 2,395 searches per month.

There are a number of cruise liners travelling to Dubai including Royal Caribbean Cruises and Cordelia Cruises. Docking in the Dubai Harbour, you’re landed right beside Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah.
