Dubai Officially Becomes The Number One City Expats Want To Live In

Dubai has been crowned as the city everyone wants to live in.

The city is the first choice for people wanting to live abroad; beating Miami, Paris and New York in a report.

Financial services provider Remitly looked at 12 months of Google search data to discover that Dubai is the most sought-after destination for expats. The phrase ‘move to city’ was analysed for 164 countries and Dubai kept popping up as the ‘it destination’ landing it the number one spot on the list.

Relocations can be tough but word has gotten around to how easy the city makes it with its smart services, expat-friendly policies and tax-free salaries.

According to the report, in 37 of the 50 US states and seven out of 10 Canadian provinces, people were busy searching for how to relocate to Dubai. Miami was the second most searched destination and Paris came in third.

Singapore was the only Asian destination that made the list. In Europe, Paris secured third place with Madrid landing as number five. London and Brussels also got spots.
