Dubai Launches Horse Races In The Metaverse

Dubai is quite popular for its passion for horse racing and advanced technology, so it is not surprising that Dubai now has launched horse races in the Metaverse.

Dubai Verse Cup (a play-to-earn Metaverse-based horse racing platform) has joined forces with Dubai Racing Club — which organises the huge races at Meydan — to create the new game.

The Metaverse-based horse racing platform will allow game players to ride around the famous Meydan Racecourse track on the back of their chosen horse.

“The collaboration will enable us to further develop our play-to-earn gaming model. Users will gain rewards in the form of $DVCC tokens, based on their racing and breeding performance. Players can exchange tokens for horses, perks, skins, and avatars, making the game a thriving marketplace and competition space at the heart of the Meydan Racecourse,” explains Vincent Isik, CEO of Dubai Verse Cup (DVCC).

It doesn’t matter whether you are a trained jockey or not, you can ride around Meydan Racecourse track during the horse races in the Metaverse using your smartphone.

Isik added, “Our platform combines futuristic metaverse gaming with Dubai’s rich horse racing ecosystem. It was just instinctive to partner with the best and most experienced in the industry, Dubai Racing Club.”

The interactive game will allow users to choose their own guild, role and to progress through the realistic horse racing gameplay before riding around the world-famous Meydan Racecourse.
