Dubai is the ever-evolving city. And having said that, the city’s plans for Dubai Islands have been revealed, and the waterfront development sounds super exciting.

Headed up by developer Nakheel, there is lots in store for the Dubai Islands, originally called Deira Islands.

Dubai Islands are formed by five islands with a total area of 17 square kms and are located along Dubai’s northern coastline.

Residents and visitors are in for a good time with even more options for living, recreation, dining, shopping, and entertainment coming to Dubai.

In sync with Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, Dubai Islands is set to be a tempting attraction for residents, visitors, and investors alike.

Wondering what to expect? Well, each island will have its own unique set of attractions such as innovative living experiences, cultural hubs, recreational sports beaches and beach clubs.

All of the Dubai Islands attractions are set to be in one interconnected location with easy access to the city and airport.

More intriguing details are that Dubai Islands is expected to have a total of 80 hotels and resorts, including luxury and wellness resorts, boutique stays, along with family and eco-conscious hotels. New staycation spots are pending.

One property we know about is the waterfront development Rixos Dubai Islands, Hotel & Residences.

It will offer 331 residences including one-two three-bedroom residences, four-bedroom duplexes with large terraces and beach houses with gardens.

Future residents can look forward to a range of amenities including adult and kids’ pools, podium gardens, beach-level snack bar and kids’ play area.

Beach lovers will also be glad to hear that plans are in motion to increase the length of beaches and areas dedicated to public parks.

The waterfront destination will have over 20 kms of beaches, including a Blue Flag, certified beach, and about two square kms of parks, open spaces, and premium golf courses with amazing views of the glistening Arabian Gulf waters.
