Dubai Is One Of The Top Ten Places For Creatives To Earn Big

In some parts of the world, it’s largely accepted that creative jobs, while rewarding, are not necessarily high-earning.

However, new data has revealed the top ten places in the world where salaries for creatives are highest. And Dubai has made the list.

Business Name Generator analysed 140 creative salaries around the globe to rank the cities in order of highest paying. It also worked out how much disposable income people in the industry would have by comparing the salaries against the annual cost of living.

These places offer the highest salaries for creative jobs around the world:

• Los Angeles
• Chicago
• Las Vegas
• Amsterdam
• Dubai
• Hong Kong
• Singapore

San Francisco came in at the top of the list with an average annual creative salary cited as £67,321(approx Dhs299,670). Considering the cost of living, people working in the creative industry in San Fran will see an average disposable income of £21,004 (approx Dhs93,491).

Next on the list was New York City with an average income of £62,525 a year (approx Dhs278,326).

Dubai ranked number eight on the list, coming in behind Amsterdam. According to the data, the average annual salary for a creative job is £49,488 (which works out to be around Dhs220,296).

According to the data, the annual cost of living in Dubai is £29,421 (approx Dhs130,956) meaning the average annual disposable income is £20,067 (around Dhs89,320).
