Burj Al Arab Opens New Observation Lounge With 24K Gold Tour

One of Dubai’s most iconic buildings, Burj Al Arab, has opened a new observation lounge.

Those visiting will be able to soak up unobstructed views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline on the 25th floor of the architectural marvel.

If you’re planning a visit, you’ll be able to choose from several 24 Karat Gold Tour experiences, available exclusively to those checking out the observation lounge.

From Dhs399 per person, each tour allows visitors to see inside Burj Al Arab and learn more about how it was built.

Inside Burj Al Arab you’ll find five restaurants and two bars.

After the Inside Burj Al Arab tour, you will then be able to go to the observation lounge to sip on a cappuccino sprinkled with 24 Karat gold or a coffee-based mixed drink sprinkled with gold dusting or s mixed drink made with Caribbean beverages, coconut and pineapple and topped with gold dust. Fancy.

There’s Sal serving southern European cuisine, headed up by Chef Paolo Mannis, and Al Muntaha is on the 27th floor offering breathtaking vistas.

Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara boasts a floor-to-ceiling aquarium and a mother-of-peal bar, mirrored ceiling and a menu of seafood while Al Iwan, which translates to royal dining hall in Arabic, serves mezze.

There’s also Bab Al Yam where you can tuck into pizzas baked in a stone oven. When it comes to bars, Gilt on the 27th floor is one opulent setting and Skyview Bar stands at 200 metres above sea level. For when you want an extra special afternoon tea, Sahn Eddar in the lobby of Burj Al Arab is sure to be the ticket.
