Babylon’s New Show Looks Pretty Wild

Dinner and show venue in DIFC, Babylon, has reopened after a brief hiatus with a brand-new experience. Babylon’s new show is themed around the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and is being called Gardens of Love.

The show is Babylon’s season three and includes acrobats, dancers and performers. In pursuit of transporting diners back in time to the rich city of Babylon, the costumes, music and performances will be louder than life.

Dreamed up by ADDMIND (the team behind WHITE, Clap and Iris) the venue puts on a theatrical performance from the minute you arrive.

With an MO of hedonism, everything from the interior design to the food is luxe, while the show is fun and sometimes a little bit wild.

Along with the new show, Babylon has launched a weekly music night on Wednesdays. Le Club will be a DJ night that plays commercial and hip-hop music throughout the night.

The menu has also had a revamp with seasonal dishes including fennel salad, octopus carpaccio, Japanese wagyu and foie gras maki added to the menu. You can try the new dishes in a chef’s signature menu experience on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The five-course tasting menu costs Dhs595 and includes a drink on arrival.

Over the weekend, the venue also throws a Saturday brunch. Let Them Have Brunch takes place every Saturday from 1pm to 4pm. It’s Dhs395 for soft drinks, Dhs550 for house beverages and Dhs700 for premium beverages.

Open Tue-Sat 8.30pm-3am. Podium Level, Gate Village 5, DIFC (04 352 7750).
