A New Dog-friendly Public Beach Has Opened In Dubai

When it comes to family-filled beach days, a public beach is always a winner.

And Dubai residents can have a new beach all by themselves from sunrise to sunset.

Located along Dubai’s northern coastline around Deira’s waterfront, Dubai Islands Beach is free to access and dog-friendly.

And you can take your furry friend along with you when hitting the public beach for a family day trip.

Found a few steps away from Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai and Hotel Riu Dubai, the new beachfront area will have it all from watersports to beach volleyball and football, kayaking and more.

Big plans are in the works for the city’s newest beach destination as several food and beverage venues are due to open on the waterfront by the end of the year. Stay tuned to Time Out Dubai for updates.

Accessible by road and water transportation, boat and yacht owners can opt to anchor their vessels at the nearby Nakheel Marina Dubai Islands and disembark to enjoy a jam-packed day of activities at the brand-new sandy spot.
