A New Balloon Ride Has Opened On Palm Jumeirah

Dubai has introduced a unique attraction, taken off on the Palm Jumeirah.

The Dubai Balloon is a hot-air balloon ride soaring above Atlantis, The Palm. Located at Poseidon’s Watchtower in Atlantis Aquadventure, the balloon will take you up to 300m into the air.

Touted as the city’s newest “aerial adventure” the helium balloon is tethered to the ground but allows guests to float up into the sky to gain a unique vantage point over Palm Jumeirah.

The ride lasts ten minutes and should the weather be good and visibility clear you can see across the city. Available for private charter, you’ll be able to celebrate birthdays or propose to that someone special while soaring above Dubai.

The Dubai Balloon at Atlantis is now open to the public and is taking online bookings from Friday March 31.

Standard tickets cost Dhs175 for adults or Dhs75 for kids. But if you want to make your experience extra special, there’s an option to book a fast pass ticket for Dhs275 (adults) and Dhs125 (kids) which will also include a free soft or hot drink in the lounge post-ride.
