A Dubai’s Hotel Has Launched A ChatGPT Concierge Service

Booked yourself into a hotel for a staycation and can’t wait to get out to explore? Well, we know the feeling.

One of the great things about checking in to a destination you’ve never visited before is the safety net of speaking to a concierge about all the best places to go.

Well, the process of you wandering over to a trustee concierge for advice might have just been dragged into the 21st century.

That’s because Address Hotels and Resorts in Dubai has introduced Nuha, a virtual hospitality concierge powered by ChatGPT.

The AI system was launched at the Address Downtown earlier this month, with the name Nuha deriving from Arabic and meaning guidance and self-restraint. The idea is that Nuha will be on-hand to provide you with all the knowledge and assistance you will need.

Whether Nuha lives up to its human counterpart remains to be seen – but we can’t wait to give it a go and try it out for size.

Nuha has been set up to cover all bases, including:

  • Acting as a city guide, with useful information about Dubai landmarks.
  • Carrying out tours of Address Downtown Hotel, showing rooms to restaurants and spa retreats.
  • Featuring information about events and festivities taking place in Dubai.
  • Showcasing Emaar’s wider offerings.

Mark Kirby, Head of Hospitality at Emaar Hospitality Group, said: “At Address Hotels, we merge technology with the heart.

“ChatGPT’s conversational capability combined with human warmth makes our guests feel truly seen and heard. This meld of technology and personal touch places Address Downtown Hotel at the forefront of hospitality innovation.”
